South Africa commemorates women's men in August as a tribute to the thousands of women who marched to the union building on August 9th 1956 woman's month takes place against a backdrop often increase in the levels of violence and brutality against women and children in our society. This March was a turning point in the role of woman in the struggle of freedom and our society at large.
Most beautiful woman and not only those who walk on the catwalks before judges and cameras they are not necessarily the finalists of this hour the most beautiful woman are those ordinary woman who have wavered the storms who have raised their children against all odds who continuously get up every morning and he's still standing strong these women are the preservers of our day and they are the finalists of this hour for a woman in her creation and her makeup and her design the power of multiplication is within her. Whatever you give a woman she will never give it back to you the same way you give her a house and she will make it and create it into a beautiful home you give her groceries and she'll give you a meal for the entire month life is transformed within a woman she carries life she is a principle of preservation she does not only have a womb she is a womb she's a mental woman a physical wound and emotional wounds and they spiritual womb a woman receives incubate and delivers at a set time when I look at the women that have paved the way for our generation I can truly say today we stand on the shoulders of giants women are in the front lines of revolution. The most effective change agents are women who galvanized a movement great social entrepreneurs don't just come from the ranks of the privileged many through adverse circumstances are changing communities villages cities and nations our young girls are changing the world's galvanized by fierce determination our goggles at grassroots level are preserving the seeds and the next generation we salute the mothers who have paved the way your passion perseverance and dedication has created a pathway for countless of children to rise up and fulfill destiny in their sphere of influence and domain you we may never hear of some of them but they are influencing the earth even you as powerful woman who are present here today you are doing everyday extraordinary things in the mundane and the familiar but you are changing and transforming lives just by your presence by the encouraging words by positive words that you articulate for your families and your friends your colleagues and you are well able knowing the efforts of women in the past allows for today's women to prevail and make their own history not defined by gender we celebrate woman's month to remember the struggles women went through to get the equality's we have today we have achieved what our ancestors have worked so hard for all the empowerment given to a child carries on to the next generation the transfer of legacy continues in an ideal world people won't focus on our agenda rather how we can be Better Together we are strong women who fought to be here and we ain't going anyway but there needs to be changed there needs to be much more change and one of the ways we can bring change by crushing nasty mind bugs that are dull or sentiments and sensibilities by changing the mindset and resetting the narrative the mountain is too steep to climb without a little help on the way up we must force the change or stay mud in the comfortable numbness of complacency we cannot afford to be complacent I'm also a passionate believer in mentors and role models and survey after survey women list as a major barrier to advancement we need to look out for each other strong women empower each other we are that caliber of woman ultimately I would love to see a world where women let their confidence roar from the rooftops their cups run over with self assurance the voices resounded across the pinnacles of power we have certainly made great strides towards gender equality but while our foot might be in the door we are still far from done much more needs to be done Nelson Mandela said freedom cannot be achieved in this woman have been emancipated from all forms of oppression or endeavors must be about the liberation of the woman the emancipation of the man and the liberty of the child there is no greatest pillar of stability than a strong free and educated woman and there is no more inspiring role model than a man who respects and cherishes woman and champions their leadership we are fearless and we are fabulous and we go take the world in our stride one step at a time we are like the lioness protective with maternal instincts we know how to charge we know how to rule we are and we know that we are fearless in the pursuit of what sets our soul on fire love and compassion are necessary necessities not luxuries without them humanity cannot survive laughter is good for thinking because when people laugh they are able to release everything that's negative woman and multi gifted multi talented and multifaceted we're a war club and a force to be reckoned with the trajectory of our lives speaks volumes to those who we are connected to surround ourselves with people that force us to do better women are the creation of God mothers are angels imagine life without a woman is quite hard hitting women are not appendages to men they're not an afterthought they are fearless they are fabulous they are the once the whole the glue the glue that holds the family together.

Giving priority to women is not an option. It is a necessity. Giving more opportunities to women, besides being a matter of rights, is also a manifestation of good economic sense.
Malala Youseefazi, noble laureate, believes that if you educate a girl you empower nation, middle east she is building schools because they told her girls must stay at home and get married , she was shot and survived then she stood for as cause. We too can stand up for a cause next generation.
"Our words can change the whole world because we are all together”, that is how Malala Yousafzai concluded her speech at the United Nations. When Malala started her speech, she was seen by everyone as a young girl with a huge story behind her, but that day, it was her words in favour of the equality for girls and women that made her wise in everyone’s eyes. And her words have also echoed all around the world! But Malala, Nobel Peace Prize laureate, was not the only one to raise her voice. Over the years, more and more people have joined the movement for gender equality. So, what better way to celebrate International Women’s Day than through their voice, their strength and their conviction? These are some of the most inspiring speeches in favour of gender equality on the occasion of International Women’s Day!
The best advice I could give to a woman starting her career? ‘Whatever you do, be different. Don’t try to imitate a man, be more ambitious. Be persevering and trust yourself. Excellence is the best way to defeat sexism but don’t fear failure. Dare and get what you want as an independent woman who does not let herself influenced by what others might think.
Nights that brings hope and we are called to accelerate progress towards an equal sustainable and peaceful future for all people for every woman and for every girl everywhere I know that together it is within our reach every single one of us can make a difference in every little way possible if we dare the difference the difference will deliver achieving gender equality would benefit not just women but society as a whole it would lead to increased economic growth which we need as as a nation's development and improved family life outcomes it will also help us to breakdown stereotypes and promote gender equality as a value it takes a collective effort to achieve gender equality We need to give equal opportunities to women for equal pay equal respect as equal to men we look forward to such a nation where the word gender equality will be erased because we will come to terms and understand that we unknown not by our gender but by our value contribution to society.
To all women present here today everyday you are doing ordinary things that are evolving to become extra ordinary. Let me remind you in the mundane and familiar every day is how greatness is born. Your encouraging words, hugs, smile and your presence is making a huge difference.
Presence by the encouraging words by positive words that you articulate for your families and your friends your colleagues and you are well able knowing the efforts of women in the past allows for today's women to prevail and make their own history not defined by gender we celebrate woman's month to remember the struggles women went through to get the equalities we have today we have achieved what our ancestors have worked so hard for all the empowerment
